Our CORREA AXIA 70 machining center
In our production department, we have a CORREA AXIA 70 milling and boring machine, a state-of-the-art machine controlled by a Siemens One CNC system.
This technology allows us to perform high-precision machining on individual parts or large-scale, heavy-duty production runs.
What we can do for you:
• Extra-Large Milling and Boring: We machine parts up to 3.5 meters in diameter using a pendulum-type setup.
• Complex 5-Axis Geometries: Thanks to the bidirectional head with 5 positioning axes, we can finish the part from every angle with a single setup.
• Commuter Cycles (Zero Downtime): We use the X3500’s commuter cycle to load one part while the machine is working on the other, eliminating downtime.
• Boring and Special Milling: We perform milling and boring operations with centesimal precision thanks to our automatic head changer (5-axis positioning head + boring head + d’Andrea UT630 head).
Our technical data sheet is available to you:
• Travel ranges: X 7,000 mm (full A-axis range) / X 3,500 mm (pendulum mode) / Y 2,500 mm / Z 1,500 mm (RAM) / Z 1,500 mm (tables).
• Load capacity: 2 rotating tables measuring 2000×2000 mm, each with a load capacity of up to 10 metric tons.
• Tool Magazine (CU 100 Pos): Automatic tool changer for tools up to 600 mm in length and 30 kg in weight.
